Information We Collect About You

If you register with us, we will collect your first and last name, and your email address. If you choose to purchase ATC Products or services, we will also collect your credit card number, as well as your billing address and, if you choose to purchase a physical product, your shipping address.

Information Collected Automatically

Additionally, ATC automatically collects certain non-personal computer or device-related information from visitors to the Website), including the operating system (e.g. Mac OS, iOS, Windows, Android), the visitor’s IP address, and the web browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox, Chrome).

Using service providers for analytics data, we compile and analyze information derived from the use of our Services, such as aggregate usage patterns, user preferences, and other usage information.

Our Use of Your Information

Newsletters & Marketing Choices

Users have the opportunity to provide their email address to receive ATC communications such as announcements of new products, and special offers. These email communications are sent in accordance with applicable laws, and where your consent is required by law, we will obtain your permission before sending any such communication. Your consent may be withdrawn at any time. All such messages will feature unsubscribe links in the footer, and users may also unsubscribe by visiting their account page on the Website. ATC will not feature third party advertisements of any kind on the Website, and will not send marketing communications on behalf of third parties.

Disclosure of Information

ATC may store and disclose personal information as allowed or required by applicable law, including making disclosures that are necessary or advisable to (a) protect the rights, safety, or property of ATC or others and (b) comply with legal processes or regulatory requirements. We may also transfer your information to any affiliated business, and in the event of a merger or acquisition or asset sale, your information may be disclosed to the acquiring entity. International Transfer; Privacy Shield. The Website is designed for and targeted to U.S. audiences and is governed by and operated in accordance with the laws of the U.S.

ATC complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom and/or Switzerland to the United States. For the Personal Information (and IP addresses), received from residents of the EU, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, ATC has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement. If there is any conflict between the standards of this Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles govern.

Under the Onward Transfer Principle, we may remain liable for the processing of Personal Information (and IP addresses) that we transfer to our third party service providers, if any. In some instances, we may also be required to disclose Personal Information (and IP addresses) to comply with valid requests from public authorities, including for the purposes of law enforcement.

ATC has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to JAMS (https://www.jamsadr.com), an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. These recourse mechanisms are available at no cost to you. Damages may be awarded in accordance with applicable law. Under certain conditions, if you are not satisfied with the above recourse mechanism, you may be able to invoke binding arbitration.

While ATC encourages all EU, United Kingdom and/or Swiss residents who have a complaint to contact us directly so we may address any issues, you also have the right to register a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you reside or work.

Security, Storage, Retention. ATC complies with industry standard practices to maintain the security of information. All financial transactions on the website are conducted via secured transmissions. All stored passwords are hashed in accordance with industry standards. However, as with most Internet sites or services, it is possible that third parties may unlawfully access such personal information despite our efforts. Information collected will not be stored longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or to otherwise meet legal requirements. ATC may retain personal information pertaining to you as necessary to pursue legitimate business interests, conduct audits, comply with applicable law, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. The log data generated by the cloud.typography service which resides on ATC servers, contains no IP address or other personal information of visitors to your website, and is deleted within thirty days of processing.

Your Rights; Reviewing Your Information. You have the right to access, update, and correct factual inaccuracies in personally identifiable information collected by ATC, subject to certain exceptions, and to request that your personal information be deleted. Also, under the law of certain countries, you may have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Information (unless we are obligated to process that information to fulfill our obligations under a contract, or to comply with applicable law). Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not target users, or children under the age of 13 (“minors”). And we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data to us through the Services, we will take reasonable steps in order to delete such personal data.

Third Party Websites

This Website may contain links to other websites. ATC, however, does not control the privacy policies of those sites. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected and maintained solely by ATC.

California Privacy Rights and Do Not Track Notice. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding its disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
